about

This is a song that took forever to write, and probably had twelve or fifteen from-the-ground-up rewrites. The problem being, of course, that it's very hard to write a song about augury and doom symbology without sounding completely pretentious or a little bit silly. It's a subject that doesn't survive well when even a little silliness is injected.
