about

This is a cover of the song by the same name by The Influence from their tour album, "Sorry, We're Fresh Out of Texas."
It's the true story of a meeting between Jimmy W Wildcat (before he was Jimmy W Wildcat) and Robert Steffenino (very much while he was Robert Steffenino) at a convention north of Dallas, Texas. Also at the convention were Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew and, I think, Richard Hatch. Steffenino had set up a table outside the Media Room, selling autographed photos for three dollars. I think I still have mine, next to my Kenny Baker-as-Fidget, tucked into a book somewhere.
The song didn't actually write itself, but that's how you end that kind of story, right?
